La Pentera, Badulla Reviews
Really enjoyed the stay. Seems like the owner is slowly getting his business up to speed. There were a few things we didn't like, like construction noise, power outage, and the tiny canoe. But nice fresh fish and vegetables, decent wifi, lots of monkey action in the forest behind the huts, and friendly staff made the stay a real pleasure.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The service is first class and the team go above and beyond to organise great excursions for their guests and make them feel welcome . The food was also excellent. The treehouses are very unique, making it an all round fantastic stay. I would highly recommend.
Beautiful and small hotel with friendly staff plus a very friendly and helpful manager. Good starting point for a safari in Udawalawe National Park. The food they serve is delicious and affordable. My highlight was sleeping in one of the Tree Houses. Will come back, when the Jacuzzi Tree Houses are finished!
Nothing special and WAY OVERPRICED! Wre have stayed one night and to start with good news: Service is okay - super slow but at least there is some. Food was nice but super simple! The area is quite nice. Treehouse was SUPER DIRTY and rather a shabby shack than anything else. We payed 150 Dollars what should have been around 50 for what accomodation offers! I guess its missing every little attention to detail you could imagine. Breakfast took ONE HOUR! I guess owner does nothing really to accommodate. Sad story
Best place to relax, love the feeling of closer to nature, wild life & the lake close by.
