Built on the Girwa River in the beautiful Himalayan country of Nepal, the Kothiyaghat Bridge is an engineering marvel and a popular tourist attraction of the country. Inaugurated in 2014, this bridge is the longest bridge of the country measuring 1,015-meter and connecting people in five VDCs of the Rajapur area, surrounded by the Karnali river, to the outside world. The bridge is nestled between ample natural scenic beauty and it is a paradise for the eyes to experience. Indeed, an ideal place to experience with your family and friends, this bridge has everything to offer for a view - the Himalayas, blue waters of the Karnali river and some fresh mountain air.
Kothiyaghat Bridge Reviews & Ratings
An RCC bridge over 1 km in length is simply fabulous. To enjoy it fully, we stopped by one side and walked the bridge all the way to the next end. We went down the river bank to see the underneath of the bridge. The scene there is simply astonishing.
