Baindur or Byndoor is a town in Udupi district in the state of Karnataka, India. The town lies on NH-66 running between Panvel and Kochi and is one of the major stations along the Konkan Railway line after Udupi,Kundapura,Surathkal and Mangalore. The Mookambika Road Byndoor Railway Station, caters mainly to pilgrims visiting the Kollur Mookambika Temple in Udupi district. The nearest airport is the Mangalore International Airport. This place was also known as Bindupura. Baindur is notable for the Kollur Mookambika Temple, Someshwara beach, Koosalli Water Falls and the Ottinene beach, Sunset point.K.
