Located around 37 kilometres to the south west of Bakersfield downtown area, Buena Vista aquatic area cover an expanse of 6,800 acres! The area is best known for being a popular fishing ground and for offering activities like jet skiing, boating and camping. The place has 112 campsites located on an horse-shoe shaped area. The site is frequented by locals during weekends and the nearby Lake Evans is loved for sailing, boating and fishing as well. The trout population here is high and you can fish for some of the best trout here around the city.
