Essentially a state zoological park, the Baku Zoo has got to be on your list of things to do in Baku for reasons more than one. Credited as being the oldest zoo in Azerbaijan, this city attraction is managed and operated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. The zoo sprawls across a whopping 10.5 acres accommodating some 1200-odd animals, in the form of 160 species. A place that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike!
