Nariman Narimanov was a legendary Azerbaijani Bolshevik Revolutionary. In his memory, a 30 feet stone figure is built on a 25 feet high pedestal. The statesman, writer and journalist was considered a leader like Lenin. The gigantic statue will surely overwhelm you. The uniqueness of this statue is that it was untouched after the fall of Soviet Union in 1991 while all the other political statues were demolished. There is a large busy roundabout where you can take a stroll after a busy day. There is a water-body in the perimeter too. A warden is always in the vicinity who keeps the place clean and tidy. Yanar Dag, Maidens Tower, Absheron Peninsula are some of the other attractions you can check out nearby.
