The Upland Park is the highest park in the city of Baku and offers panoramic and absolutely splendid views of the city along with its bay. The park can be reached either by a cableway from the boulevard in seven to eight minutes or by climbing up the stairs. On the upper level of the park are the memorials that have been built in the memory of Turkish soldiers who lost their lives in 1918 fighting against the Bolshevics. The views of the Caspian Sea from here are absolutely splendid and the eternal Flame can also be seen here and keeps on flaring throughout the year. The park offers innumerable photo opportunities and even on your way up, you would be rewarded with impressive views of the surrounding.
