We wish we would have stayed longer in this beautiful resort, staff were friendly, attentive and very professional. We were welcomed by the counter staff and any time we had a question they were ready to help. The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. We were very impressed with the food as we ate both breakfast and dinner, the staff were very personal and friendly and we were welcomed with a smile every time. The afternoon tea is a lovely experience. Thank you for making our holiday memorable.
I spent two nights at Alaya and felt so happy, comfortable and well looked after the entire time. The staff are made up of smart, kind, helpful and gracious people all looking to make every request as smooth as possible. Could not have asked for a better team of staff. My only negative is that my room, which was on the ground floor was on the path to the restaurant and all throughout the morning and afternoon people walked by my room while I was relaxing and surely they could easily see inside! I think there should be a more private walkway to restaurant that doesn't allow people to see into rooms.
Amazing, 5 star location! Shame about the management that were only interested in selling you activities that the hotel provided and got argumentative when we asked to use an outside provider. The have a lot to learn about luxury service and it put a downer on our stay.
The moment we stepped in; and were greeted at the desk with smiles and laughter was to set the tone for our stay at Alaya. The staff were a pleasure to speak to and could not do enough to assist you in any way. The staff were genuinely happy to work there and the pride was easy to see on their faces. As good as the staff were; they new when to approach you and did not get in your face at all. The training the staff were given from the gardener to the concierge was seamless in their roles. I highly recommend the Alaya Resort Ubud for a business stay and presentation. For the family or couple this Resort has it all and if they don't they will arrange it. The rooms were very comfortable and not over the top and yet they had all that was necessary, and the bed was very comfortable and easy to dose off on. The rooms were catered for well and most of your time would be spent outside using the facilities or visiting the many attractions.
Absolutely fantastic resort. The staff are highly professional, the facilities are clean and modern and the location is perfect. Rooms are spacious, always clean and fully equipped. Highly recommended Alaya Resort.
