Bali Buda Cafe, Bali Reviews
A wonderful atmosphere from the first moment of contact with this place. It deserves a lot of credit for not tearing at the menu. Delicious food. Very good service. Beautiful application. It is worth visiting not once
'It's ok' is the perfect wording for Bali Buda. The smoothies are good but we waited forever for our main course. I had the tortillas with eggplant and sprouted almonds. The tortillas were dry and had hardly any filling. The salad came without dressing and it was only after I had finished that I noticed the wait staff will bring you some, I guess if you ask or if they remember when they bring you a salad. I left hungry and dissatisfied
My favorite place in Bali so far. Wonderful juice and smoothie selection. All food I’ve had here has been fresh healthy and tasty.
4 stars average - makes sense. The place is nice and quiet and open, I like that. The baked goods are good and very cheap. The coffee is very good but not so cheap. Overall it's a good place, we go there a lot. The waitstaff is a bit special, they are not quite professional, but I like them. What always annoys me is that they have stuff like the breakfast set that supposedly comes with 2 English muffins, but then you only get one, cut in half. I told them that I think that's not ok, but for the reprint of the menu they kept it. I know I sound like a stickler, but I'm all for honesty.
Food was amazing, but the service is terrible here. The tables were half full while we were here, if that, and yet we had to wait ages for someone to come and take our order. The food took a long time to come out (I ordered a grilled cheese). Ordered a lemonade and it came with a ton of mint blended into it? Ordered a vegetable pate that never came out. Asked for ice for my "lemonade" since it didn't come with any, and again it never came out. Had to go up and ask them for napkins and cutlery since there was none on the table. They brought us napkins, but had to wave another person down to ask for cutlery again. Great food, but not worth dealing with the terrible service. There are other places in Ubud to eat that are just as good and the people working there actually know what they're doing. Save your time.
