This beach has two stand out features. The first is the largest lagoon on this side of the coast on the island of Bali. The second is the rocky reef that churns up large surfing waves. The beach isn't most conducive to swimming or snorkeling as the currents are strong, but it's a pleasant place otherwise. It is especially beautiful at sunset. There are always sunbeds and loungers on the beach, available for quite low rental fees. The neighborhood around the beach is well developed, specifically as a dining and shopping hub. There are even a few clubs nearby, specifically the La Laguna, which often gets crowded at sunset. If you are interested in serving but did not have your own gear handy, you can rent it from the same people who handle the sunbeds and parasols

  • Berawa Beach is a bit "touristy". Lots of judgment from people on our dog. "You should have your dog here, he doesn't want to be here" because he's an old dog that has never been on a lead before. He's blind and we took him on to give him new experiences. He's been treated bad. So training a dig to walk on a lead when he pulls against you, it's best done on sand, rather than across a road, or a concrete driveway. Lots of people sitting at little places selling over priced coconuts and beer. Not really our cup of tea, however, I wouldn't not go in future. If I had a choice I would pick a less "touristy" place.

  • One of crowded beach in Bali. Black & white sands. Nice point to watch sunset. Big waves, well organize parking. Need to improve the toilet area.

  • Little sweet escape that you must to visit while you're in Bali. This beach is not too crowded with cafe or place to hang out, just the beach itself, of course there ia some locals who sells local food also but they are well placed, so will not intervene with your view to the beach. You can walk your dog here and socialize with local dogs. The sunset, of course magical! It's Bali we're talking about.

  • Awesome place to chill and watch the sunset. Just keep watch for the local dogs that like to run about also for their messes that they like to leave in the sand, if you know what I mean, you might accidentally just find yourself in doodoo.

  • Another beautiful beach in Bali. Spent time here, feel the breeze and playful waves. Must visit place! :)
