The Jalan Raya Celuk, the main street running through this village, is home to the majority of Bali’s jewellers, goldsmiths, silversmiths, and associated decorative galleries. The artists here have been at their trade for a long time. Their goods are exquisitely crafted, intricately designed, and more than willing to show off their work and working methods. Interest rates feels as much like an art gallery as it does a shopping mall. The prices of the goods are astoundingly low compared to what you’d have to get them for outside of Indonesia. Most of the stuff is exported from here, sold for much higher prices outside. This is one of the standard places to get your Bali souvenirs.
