About Geger Sawangan Beach, Bali
This is a pretty standard beach in the Nusa Dua area in Bali. Facing the east, the beach is best at sunrise, when all is quiet, cool and magical. The water is clean and the sand is white. The waves at the beach are quite decent you’ll frequently spot surfers in the water. Communities of seaweed farmers can be seen tending to their produce. But as with nearly all beaches on the island, this one too has a quirk, a unique selling point. For some reasons some private operatives have seen fit to establish camel safaris outfits on the beach. The rides last about an hour and are decent fun. Other amenities include massage services and food vendors.

Geger Sawangan Beach, Bali Reviews
Beautiful beach but really hate the fact that it's dominated by private resort hotels. Even when they've got few guests, they won't let you hire a chair etc. A little walk up the coast and you can come to equally nice beaches with more public areas and good quality beach beds/umbrellas for hire. I paid 50,000.
This is probably the cleanest beach in Bali. Entrance fee is really cheap - only 2,500. It is clean because all the private hotels who pay for cleaning. Also it is not very crowded, its more peaceful. It can be really windy during dry season so you will often see kite-surfers around. There are also some cheap food stalls between hotels. This beach , however , is not very suitable for swimming, because of high waves during dry season.
White sand beach with onshore current so perfect for families with kids. There are still a few local cafes dotted between the 5* hotels built here where you can get food and cold beer at Bali prices. Try Fleet Cafe next to The Mulia for good value.
Nice beach, you do need to pay for everything there, that includes a sun beds, towels and entry. It is cheap there. Food and drinks on the beach so you don't need to leave. You can also get your massages done right on the beach too. I would go back. Not much surf when we went. But you can pay a guy to take you out to a break on there boat.
Beautiful sandy beach. Clear blue waters. Plenty of sun beds and great service from restaurant. No hawkers so was able to fully relax
