This is a pretty standard beach in the Nusa Dua area in Bali. Facing the east, the beach is best at sunrise, when all is quiet, cool and magical. The water is clean and the sand is white. The waves at the beach are quite decent you’ll frequently spot surfers in the water. Communities of seaweed farmers can be seen tending to their produce. But as with nearly all beaches on the island, this one too has a quirk, a unique selling point. For some reasons some private operatives have seen fit to establish camel safaris outfits on the beach. The rides last about an hour and are decent fun. Other amenities include massage services and food vendors.

Geger Sawangan Beach, Bali Reviews - Write a Review

  • Good for snorkeling not swimming. At the Geger beach you can rent water gears for a cheap price (50-100K per hour), don't get fooled by tourist guide stands that will charge you 500K for a simple snorkeling session. You're not going to see coral gardens, just very regular underwater experience. Enjoy your last beer at this beach by sunset as it goes to bed quite early in the night.

  • Great place for a stroll or take a longer walk along the beach to Peninsula Island and back. White sand beach and clear water.

  • Best beach for relaxation, it is not crowded so you can feel the cool breeze of sea . Neat , but waves are very weak here so there is no water sport and other activities.

  • Strategic place, in Nusa Dua region but still peaceful 😊

  • So beautiful. It only cost 3000 rp for each person entering this beach. White sand, clean and lot of tourists (not local). Near mulia resort. Recommended.
