Geger Sawangan Beach - Review

This is a pretty standard beach in the Nusa Dua area in Bali. Facing the east, the beach is best at sunrise, when all is quiet, cool and magical. The water is clean and the sand is white. The waves at the beach are quite decent you’ll frequently spot surfers in the water. Communities of seaweed farmers can be seen tending to their produce. But as with nearly all beaches on the island, this one too has a quirk, a unique selling point. For some reasons some private operatives have seen fit to establish camel safaris outfits on the beach. The rides last about an hour and are decent fun. Other amenities include massage services and food vendors.

Geger Sawangan Beach, Bali Reviews

  • Right on the beach in front of the beautiful sea. You can see a temple on the right side. They do serve you drinks/food at a very affordable price. You have to pay an entrance fee + for the sun beds but it’s not expensive and really worth it. We had a perfect day here, relaxing and enjoying the views!

  • Actually this is called geger Beach. Good place to swim. Some sports if you want. Take your time and relax. If you are in the Mulia you don't need to think much If you come by yourself using motorcycle or car. Pay the park site and go to enjoy.

  • Nice clean beach, pretty streamed water. Calmer water in the afternoon. Nothing for toddlers. Cozy cafes and you can get healthy food. Quite expensive. Entrance fee to the beach area

  • As we know, the beach in South Bali is very well, mostly white sandy beach. This place very recommended for all of you who wanna looking for a "quite" beach around Jimbaran. This place also free, just pay 2000 Rp for motor cycle parking lot. You can do everything here, such as: snorkeling, swimming, running, padling, or just feeling the comfort wind blow from the ocean. If you are lucky, you can find rainbow and fisherman after fishing in the sea.

  • Picturesque white sand beach, lots of options with resorts and local Warungs. However the ocean itself was full of weed and debris when we visited. Not sure if that was just a one off or normal? Seriously though, this is the place to visit at sunrise. Amazing. Make sure you come at least 30 minutes before actual sunrise time as that is the most beautiful colours in the sky, if you’re here at low tide they are amazing as reflected on the glassy water.
