Gianyar Street Night Market - Review
Every evening around sunset the south side of this street begins to light up with fluorescent lamps of the vendor’s stalls. Moderately chaotic, thoroughly organic, there is nothing about this market that feels as if it is pandering to tourists and that makes it even more appealing. The biggest draw here is of course the food, both fresh produced and the cooked traditional and local dishes (meat, satay, soup, sweets). The main specialties for you to try out are the ‘babi guling’, ‘bakso’, ‘nasi jingo’ and ‘jaje pasar’. In addition to food the market is also a selling point for a variety of other goods such as toys and jewelry, pirated movies, items to be used in prayer, second-hand clothes and miscellaneous handicraft. Do not forget to bargain with your vendors; they are expecting it and will almost definitely quote you a high initial price.

Gianyar Street Night Market, Bali Reviews
Best night market in all of Bali. Food is good and did not make me sick. All sorts of things can be found at the night market. People are friendly and will help you out if you need so. Plenty of parking.
Was very excited about visiting this night market but was incredibly disappointed upon arrival. Locals are incredibly rude and are not tourist-friendly at all (unfriendly stares plus pointing and laughing as we walked by each stall). Unfortunately, we ended up leaving after trying only one dish and will definitely not be going back. To make things worse, there are no taxi services available after 10pm when the market closes and locals weren't very helpful. Luckily there was a smatyphone shop nearby where one of the staff kindly helped us get a "Grabbike" anx we cannot thank him enough. Anyway, I would not recommend this market unless you go with a local guide and your own transportation!
Is night market that you can find everything what you need but the most is all the traditional food of Bali and some other island with good price
Really fun little local night market, it’s only a little way outside Ubud and if you want to see a bit of local culture it’s worth the journey. Lots of delicious and very cheap food to try, I recommend getting the smoked chicken, many places sell it and it’s delicious
