Jimbaran Bay Seafood Club, Bali Reviews
This should be on your bucket list of places to visit while in Bali.. During my visit I loved dinner beach side.. Eating seafood on the beach in a intimate setting is a tourist dream come true.. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent.. Watching the waves crash on shore while dining was a beautiful experience.. Fireworks were going off from a far in the sky, as a cool breeze passed by..
We ate here as part of a prepaid trip to Uluwatu Temple. This was supposed to be the seafood dinner. I am not sure how much they get paid for this, but we would have gladly paid extra to get something decent. The meal comprised a bottle of water, individual platters containing a small grilled fish butterflied, two grilled prawns, two cockles, some squid per person. There was also a large bowl of rice for everyone and a green stir fried vegetable (morning glory?). The veg was the nicest part of the meal. I think it had all been cooked earlier and left for us to arrive. The service was fast, alcoholic drinks were reasonable. And the beach side location was excellent. Jimbaran is famous for its seafood. They are doing themselves no favours with this meal. The restaurant has either priced to low in its contract with the tour company or they are taking us for a ride.
Dinner at seaside is not a bad idea at all... Space is normally crowded and full of energy. Dont expect luxurious dinner setting, but the food served is amazing and appeals to the taste buds.. an evening well spent
Wow! This place is crazy cool. The food is fantastic. We had chilli crab and king prawns. Eating on the beach and watching the sunset was a highlight of our trip. Prices are VERY good too.
Brought here by our guide, blame it on us to not research on a more valuable seafood place along Jimbaran. Food options is very lacking, with a simple fish and chips costing up to $20 sgd. 4 of us ordered a fish and chips with a seafood set with drinks and paid $160 sgd in total. It was too expensive for the variety offered albeit service was good. So advice is to do your research and head to the other side of Jimbaran beach for more valuable affordable seafood dining by the sea with equally great view. Pricing segregation exists!!!
