  • Stayed for 2 nights and it was incredible experience, but unfortunatelly one thing disapointed us. Say goodbye to your privacy, loneliness and romantic time. Locals are selling entrance tickets for tourists to enter this zone AND they introduce Jogglo as PUBLIC must see spot. So, the tourists are coming at your windows, doors and terrace every 15 minutes. Just one step from steping on your head. And nobody cares, that bungalow is occupied and there someone lives...If living like exhibit in the exhibition is OK for you, this place is just for you. A water in a bathroom is from the sea and on the second evening it ended. Wind is going trought the house, but its OK, because air ventilator doesnt work. Sleeping at night was a little scary, but you'll get used to it :). STILL, this place is a must try for everyone. A view from bungalow is spectacular. Atuh beach is amazing. Little girls from nearby warung helped us a lot.

  • The Bungalow itself is what I expected. It's rudimentary (a bed, a toilet and a shower is all you get) and it has an awesome location (an exposed position with a beach on both sides of which one is accessible and a view upon the ocean). However everything else is less than ideal. The experience upon arrival was horrible, to say the least. We announced upon request what time we would arrive to the contact person indicated by the booking agency. He confirmed and said someone would be waiting for us. But when we arrived the guy who had the key (it's the guy who also takes the money for the entrance of the beach and the parking lot) told us the didn't know of our booking. He had a booking on a second name. The place had been double booked. This can happen, but we booked 3 weeks in advance and were in communication up until a few hours before our arrival. They could have let us known several times. So the guy made a lot of phone calls, we tried to call "Artem" the booking agent. First he told us he couldn't talk and we should message him. He didn't reply. We called again and he said he would give us a number we should call and talk to that person instead, but we insisted he call that person and then call us back, if they mess up, it shouldn't be our problem. Meanwhile a lot of locals stopped by and tried to argue with the key guy on our behalf, with no success. After over 45min of phone calls and a lot of stubbornness on our side (no we won't stay somewhere else) they finally let us in. No one we talked to (who was involved with the apartment, so booking agent, key guy and the person that the key guy called) apologized in any way at any time. The guy with the key asked for my whatsapp contact after opening the apartment, "in case we need to communicate.", but the only communication was him telling us to book through him next time we want to stay at the place, and him trying to sell us a driver back to the town/port. The surrounding of the Bungalow isn't really nice either. The trash burning place is right in the middle of the view from the front door/veranda. Empty beer bottles pile up below the Bungalow, broken and working cleaning utensils are also stored right in the view you have from the veranda. Also, if you bring food, mind that it is very well sealed. Our bread and bananas were partially torn open and eaten during the night. I suspect mice or rats. Monkeys are around, but we kept everything shut, so they hardly should have been able to enter. You can buy typical warung food at the beach for a reasonable price (given the location).
