From the moment we arrived, every staff member did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We stayed under the all inclusive package and with the exception of only one or two items, have been able to eat and drink as we please at no additional cost while we stayed. The food and drink are of exceptional quality, and the room was clean and temperature controlled; a welcome relief from the heat and humidity outside. There are many facilities at the resort, so many in fact that we did not have time to enjoy them all during our stay! Could not fault our experience, and would absolutely recommend to others and return ourselves. They have truly earned their 5 star reputation.
Staff are very kind and helpful. Hotel rooms are very neat and tidy. The bar in you hotel room is a very cool thing since you can refill the bar daily. And a lot of activities including jetskies ,snorkeling ,table tennis, tennis, pool and spa. Another cool thing in this hotel is the place right next to the beach we’re you can get drinks. I would definitely recommended coming here another time and will recommend this place for other people
Great resort. Very beautiful and the beach is nice because you can buy local art work. The food is good and staff are polite. Was not overly impressed with the rooms and room service can take quite long, also the restaurant el Patio has a longer wait time for food. The Spanish restaurant is amazing some of the best food I’ve ever had. Overall very nice place to stay
Got a room on the ground floor with terrace access to a semi-private pool, actual room well sized with a bedroom and living room section. Bathroom clean and spacious enough. Hotel doctor came quickly when needed (watch out for water poisoning if you go on any day trips to waterfalls). Tide goes back a very long way during the day so enjoy it while it's in. Food and drink excellent, main hotel pools decent. Staff friendly, not all can speak great English but enough can. Overall would recommend this hotel.
Melia Bali is a lovely family resort. We have 3 kids so family room was perfect for us. 3 single beds in the room, with king bed on a mezzanine. There is toilet downstairs and bathroom upstairs. Rooms are older but very clean so no complains from us. Beautiful manicured gardens, lovely pool (it is shallow and water can get too hot), kids club looks lovely and kids club staff are amazing, but our kids weren't really interested in leaving our side (unfortunately). Everyone at the hotel was lovely. Not many food options for vegans so we mainly ate outside, but staff remembered that we have soy milk for breakfast and margarine, so it would always wait for us. We are on our day 6, and looking forward to the next 6 days... The only reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 is lack of vegan food options and cost of food in hotel restaurants (breakfast is included and lovely)
