Menega Cafe, Bali Reviews

  • 5 stars! Loved it. Good menu, Excellent service, expect a little wait time, but you could order while you wait and enjoy the waves or a candle light beach side Must try the Lobster, their sauces, rice bowl with some grilled fish, prawn and crab selections. Slightly expensive but it's an experience afterall!! Great place!

  • Seafood taste are not really good. Most of the food can taste of the burnt smell. I am not sure using coconut shell to BBQ the seafood is practical. I still think that using charcoal is skill the best. To compensate for the food, Try going before sunset. Beautiful scenery with the sun going down from the ocean.

  • Come here for the 2nd time for our honeymoon trip. I already call the restaurant to reserve spots for our honeymoon dinner. On the phone they said if we want the front row seating we have to order their honeymoon package that cost 750k, so we agreed to book those package. But, on the day we came they said we cannot get the front row even if we call in before because that's not how the way they usually do. They said it's first come first serve. We talk to them that we want the front row seating and we already call a few days before and people on the phone told us that we got the spot. But they said all the spots has been reserved. Me & my wife were very disappointed with their service. If they don't accept reservation, they should have let us know on the phone. We arrived on time as promised on the phone but they didn't give us our front row seating. Overall their food is still great. Loved all the dishes they served. Fried calamari, clam & big prawn are my favourite. And the sunset is superb experience. Most beautiful skyline. If you have been to Bali but never had a dinner at Jimbaran beach, then you have not been to Bali. Come here early if you don't want to wait to long.

  • Good seafood in Bali? This is THE best place to eat. Absolutely delicious grilled fish and prawns, but my favorite are the clams which tastes like no other. Big portions, not too expensive price, excellent service. A must visit place for everyone in Bali.

  • The cheapest and tastiest seafood place in Jimbaran I’ve ever visited! Red snapper 120 k/kg, clams 65 k/kg, calamari 55 k/500 gr. No wonder this place is so popular. We waited over half an hour to get a table. But the wait worth it. The service and the food was all excellent!
