Went here on Jan 2017. The restaurant is famous and very crowded. We found that they discriminate between expats and local. We see that some people got seat although they came later than us. Waiting list is practically non-existent. After waiting in the chaos in half and hour, we decided to leave and to eat somewhere else better. People said that the food taste good, but we think regardless of the taste of food, bad service will determine the whole dining experience. Suggest the management to review on their order and seating arrangement. Surely will not come back to this restaurant.
I've been coming here and eat since about 10 years ago. Before they served the BEST Indonesian seafood style restaurant, and lines were long every dinner. But now, just finished dinner yesterday night and boy I was saddened that the quality has gone down FAR. When we ordered the fish and other food, the guy was very rude and did not have any customer service experience. When the food came, it wasnt even that good now. they used to offer a killer seafood dishes, but now its not even on average. The only thing still worth mentioning is that sunset is still killer here. with remarkable sunset dinner experience. In closing words, they would need to repair the food quality and IMPROVE on the overall experience..
The view is awesome, but you need to wait to get seat. If you don't want to wait too long you can go to sakura cafe near them. They said sakura has same price, and taste because they have same management. I recommend try their shell,it's really good. The food a little bit pricey, but you will get amazing view. Not recommend seat inside because the smoke is too overwhelm and hurt your eyes, better seat on the outside.
We had a very nice sunset dinner in the very front row of the beach seats. The seafood was great and so was the service, too. The price was good. Would come back at any time!
5 stars! Loved it. Good menu, Excellent service, expect a little wait time, but you could order while you wait and enjoy the waves or a candle light beach side Must try the Lobster, their sauces, rice bowl with some grilled fish, prawn and crab selections. Slightly expensive but it's an experience afterall!! Great place!
