The trompe l'oeil art technique is one in which the eye is tricked into thinking that a 2D image is actually 3D. A collaboration of local and Korean artist created 120 backdrops covering everything from movie posters to cityscapes to recreations of historic places and everything in between. Basically if you pose in certain ways it can seem as if you're actually inside the artwork. If you want to utilize the best angles, ask the staff at the museum to help you. One of the freakier areas is the Luminescence Pavilion where you can basically do the same thing but this time with ultraviolet light. This is definitely one of the most engaging and fun museums you will come across on the island.

  • An absolute fun time for kids and adults with a creative side. Illusion art done very very well. Although the building looks a little old and faded from the outside, don't let that stop you from a visit. Great staff with smiles to keep your heart glowing for days to come.

  • Before I begin, this is definitely not a place for sightseeing. I was really disappointed at first, because it's just "like this?". This place really plays on the illusion....which only appear when you take the pictures. Seriously, you only have one purpose to visit here: take as many MANY pictures as you can with your friends. It's a hell lot of fun, and you'll end up spending upwards to 2 hours in this place. Highly recommended for groups! Don't come here alone though....

  • An awesome family fun experience and good laugh with the kids. The art is amazing and when pics are taken properly look amazing. My daughter had her camera so I just snapped a few on the phone. We did this and upside down world all in one morning and both were good value for money. The kids were marveled by the 3D effects. Definitely something to do if the kids really enjoy having fun and like to engage in taking part.

  • It's ok if u haven't visited before. The staff is helpful. All allied services are strictly basic. The place needs to be renovated

  • Art work is amazing and the staff take the photos for you with your own phone. Allow about and hour and half with a cafe break included. $10au entrance fee. A must do experience.
