The trompe l'oeil art technique is one in which the eye is tricked into thinking that a 2D image is actually 3D. A collaboration of local and Korean artist created 120 backdrops covering everything from movie posters to cityscapes to recreations of historic places and everything in between. Basically if you pose in certain ways it can seem as if you're actually inside the artwork. If you want to utilize the best angles, ask the staff at the museum to help you. One of the freakier areas is the Luminescence Pavilion where you can basically do the same thing but this time with ultraviolet light. This is definitely one of the most engaging and fun museums you will come across on the island.

Museum Trick Art 3D, Bali Reviews - Write a Review
This place is hilarious. It's not that expensive and you will get to spend a lot of time in there. It basically 3D perspective art designed for you to take photos of yourself in the various scenarios. It's a really creative way to create a fun attraction from very little materials. Honestly my wife and I have laughed so much just looking at the strange and dumb photos we took that it's been worth the price. Also the staff is really wonderful.
Total tourist trap but nice enough. Seems like it would be fun for kids. Mostly it's about picture taking, not about cool af art like we thought. Grab a smart phone and some silliness and you're all set! I imagine it would be fun slightly drunk (but not too drunk, don't be A-holes!)
Good place for taking a pic, very fun with the 3d painting. Recommended place for family. Bought a voucher via E-Bali
Very nice place to visit. The staffs were supportive in taking pictures and guiding us on from wer to take the pics. But Not sure why the entry fee is high for other than localites...
It's a fun place for trick photography. There are 3d images on the walls where you blend in smartly and take photos, assisted by the helpful staff. Here you could realistically appear to be escaping the jaws of a shark, or wielding a massive sword, or stepping up the stairs of an Egyptian pyramid, or enjoying a boat ride along Venice style water ways and much more. It's really fun. Make sure you are carrying a camera or a camera phone that will be used to click your pics.
