Bali is known as the Land of the Thousand Puras (temples), and Pura Lempuyang Madya is closely associated with the Balinese culture and spirituality. Naturally, there are thousands of ancient temples on the island, each seeped in its own rich history and culture. The Pura Lempuyang Madya located in Karangasem, is on top of a mountain by the same name and is quite a climb up.
