Locals and travellers alike go to this joint. Simple, home style indo cooking. Great value. Would happily recommend.. But secretly hoping it doesn't become a tourist spot
A long standing favourite place for locals (and some foreign tourists) that serves standard Javanese food at great prices. Select your dishes from behind the glass serving area, receive a plastic tag with the price, find a table (also back area) and wait to be asked what you want to drink. A large meal of rice & 4 vegetable dishes can cost around 25,000 rp wifh an extra 5,000 rp for an icec tea. They don't sell beer but seem to allow people to buy elsewhere to drink with your meal. It is a high turnover warung - no long pause after you've eaten - others will be waiting to share or use your table.
I love this place!!!! Fresh wide range of the very best in traditional Indonesian food! A must if you're after the real deal!
If you're looking for indonesian food that taste good, affordable and has lots of variety to choose from, this is definitely the place you're going to. Can be very busy during lunch time or anytime during domestic holiday season. Im one of their loyal customer since over 5 years ago, always taste the same.
