This beautiful complex of rock carvings is very close to Goa Gajah but it is a much lesser-known attraction. However, it is definitely worth venturing off the beaten path to see. It dates back to the 14th or 15th century and is surrounded by lovely rice fields. It is possible to reach Yeh Pulu by hiking on foot, but you will require a guide to help you find the way.
At this very special historical and sacred spot, you will also find a holy well, where the priest will offer you a blessing with the sacred water from the well. Appropriate dress code applies as these are holy places so make sure you cover up out of respect. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Bali itinerary 4 days.

Yeh Pulu Temple Reviews & Ratings
Went before 6am for sunrise over the rice fields. Nobody was there so we didn't pay anything for the entrance and enjoyed nice time exploring the temple. The temple is quite different to other ones you'll see in Bali. The walks at the end of the temple weren't very well maintained so we couldn't walk far.
Quiet and peaceful stroll across serene padi field to the temple carving
"Do Not Miss" This is something all the guide books say you should see. In my opinion they are right. Interesting, impressive, and wonderful workmanship.
Cheap entrance. Unpretentious little temple and rice fields. Quiet. Would go there again.
Great and unique temple, you can also arrange a trekking that goes to Goa Gajah temple. Fantastic and authentic balinese activity with a funny local guide. The entrance now is IDR 10.000 per person.
