Protected by Sheep Island and a shallow reef, The Larrybane Bay is one of the most pristine locations along the north coast. The Larrybane Park stands by the bay with its fresh pastures. You can walk along the park to the base of the cliffs towards the rope bridge. You will get to see some rare stalagmites inside the cave. The Calcite pillars are adorned with the native ferns. A precarious cliff path ending in a wooden ladder was used by the local people to bypass the quarry working to access fishing and beachcombing along the bay. The quarry has a unique archaeological beauty. One of the interesting parts is that this park was used as a location for an important episode of the world-famous TV Show Game Of Thrones.
