Good Earth State Park Reviews & Ratings
We love coming to Good Earth. You do have to pay, since it's a state park, but since we like to come here, we just get an annual pass. The trails are well maintained and very picturesque, and they have a couple of overlooks that are impossible to see otherwise. We love coming here - highly recommend. If you are looking for a place to take some great photos or just walk and relax this is a great place to go. Make sure to use Google maps so you do not get lost getting there!
Wow! This was our first time here and will definitely be going back. Great visitor center with lots of information and displays. The murals inside were amazing. There are several different trail paths. We did a couple on our visit and enjoyed the lookout towers. Very peaceful and well maintained. Since we hadn't been here before we were amazed at how much there was to see and how much they have put into the state park as it is newer. We also appreciated not having to pay the park entrance fee for Fathers day! Great place!!
Did not know this was out here until Hot Harley Nights had it as a stop on the poker run. Very beautiful park. Would be nice to stop and walk the paths they have
I drove from Eastern IA specially to visit the park and visitors center. Jenni was great and very helpful. Bought a DVD by Fourth Wall films that is very well done. The park is truly a sacred space. I conversed with a chipmunk for several minutes on one of the awesome trails. I will be back and will bring my family.
Really enjoyed going there. Just checking it out this trip. Will definitely bring the kiddos next time. Hiking trails looked great fun.
