About Dunkin' Donuts, Baltimore

Dunkin' Donuts is an American global donut company and coffeehouse based in Canton, Massachusetts, in Greater Boston. It was founded in 1950 by William Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts. Since its founding, the company has grown to become one of the largest coffee and baked goods chains in the world, with more than 12,000 restaurants in 36 countries. The chain's products include donuts, bagels, other baked goods, and a wide variety of hot and iced beverages. Before 1990, Dunkin' Donuts' primary competitor was Mister Donut, but in February of that year Mister Donut was acquired by Dunkin' Donuts' owner Allied-Lyons. After the acquisition of Mister Donut by Allied-Lyons, all Mister Donut stores in North America were offered the chance to change their name to Dunkin' Donuts. As of 2014, Dunkin' Donuts is owned by Dunkin' Brands Inc., which also owns Baskin-Robbins and previously owned the Togo's chain.

  • This one location is the worst! I have never been anywhere where they consistently mess up your order. I occasionally go to thus location because it is on my way to work, but more often than not I get to work and wind up throwing away or giving away my food because it is not what I ordered. I have been given FROZEN hash browns before, and the manager had the nerve to charge me for my next order of hash browns after he admitted the employee didn't know how to cook them and other people had complained about them as well. Today I was given cold, soggy (but not frozen) hash browns that were completely inedible. I have ordered medium coffee and given small and the manager arguing with me over what a medium is when the sizes are hanging above the register to see. I have ordered a toasted bagel and I get cold bagel. Ordered vegetable cream cheese and gotten plain. People make mistakes, but when it is nearly EVERY time you go in and the staff is rude and doesn't want to fix it, that is what fives thus horrible place 1 star. Save yourself the trouble and go to any of the other numerous locations in the city.

  • I love Dunkin' Donuts. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll typically visit 5 times a week, sometimes more. This store is shameful to the brand. I went yesterday and stood at the register for four minutes; nobody ever came. I went in today and they had a sign saying "bathroom break, back shortly." Totally unacceptable for an establishment like this. I work right next door but I'll never be back to this particular store. I blame the management; the employees themselves are relatively friendly; but clearly they are understaffed.
