This is something whose name brings pride to every Marylander. This is the name of one of the only two liberty ships that are still surviving and in operation condition. One is this and the other one belongs to Argentina. This was at one time the one man show in the trade and business relations with other countries and then was used as a high school training ship when maritime trade was no longer important. Now it finds place in the maritime museum. This ship is also known to have plied between US and other countries during The World War II. It was of great importance to the battle victims, naval force and the citizens who would have otherwise died of starvation.
