  • Fantastic hike. Kids friendly. Can be very crowded at times. Breathtaking views west and south while on the trail. At the top gorgeous views in every direction. The top towards east side is very steep. Keep your kids close. Worth of drive any time of year

  • A great hiking trail. It is a little rough getting up to the top but just take your time! It took us about an hour to get up to the top. The scenery is beautiful. Bring a picnic lunch - wonderful to eat and look at downtown Banff. There are quite a few people who do this trail but it never felt crowded.

  • Great short hike right out of Banff town. Note there are two trailheads with the upper one having limited spots. Neither have restrooms. Nice views in all directions. Can be slippery in wet cold conditions, traction devices recommended.

  • Overall: gorgeous views of Banff, with astonishing skylines and clear views. The hike is short (about 30-45 minutes depending on your speed) with several views of the surrounding landscapes. Highly recommend.

  • Great little hike if you didn’t want to do the big Sulfur mountain. It’s a short hike about 1 hour up and 1 hour down with a view of the town and the back side (golf course), and you can also see the Canadian Rockies and beautiful scenery. Trail is nicely paved and you’ll sweat a bit going up, but great exercise.
