  • The building looks unique, and is very accessible from the center of the town. The variety of fish, and the state of the individual tanks leaves a lot to be desired. Some tanks are empty, and nearly all the tanks are dull, with very little vegetation or aquascaping. Some tanks featured fish that were completely different from what they were claimed to be, and certain breeds were repeated across various tanks. Some tanks even had fish with visible health issues. The dingy interiors don't help. Even the name and description plaques next to the fish were unlit, with sparse information. Save yourself the trouble and visit pet shops around town, for a greater variety and a better experience.

  • A shadow of its own past. There used to be a good collection of fish , well maintained tanks and a guide . Now only a few remain , it is avoidable , unless you have children who are into aquariums. The restaurant where they sell fish delicacies is definitely avoidable .

  • The Bangalore Aquarium is located close to Cubbon park and has an entrance fee of Rs. 5. For the meager entrance fee of Rs 5 I would say that it is worth a visit especially with kids. There a few exotic variety of fishes to be seen. The place is maintained reasonably neat and clean.

  • Get to see variety of fishes. Only the name of fishes are given and no details are mentioned. Some of the tanks the lights were not working making in very difficult to see the fishes. The first floor had poor lighting and the floor was wet too. One has be careful while using the spiral stairs leading to first floor.

  • Many types of fish at display, entrance ticket is just 10 rupees. Maintenance of the place is average. Those visiting Visveswarayya museum/Cubbon Park can make a quick visit, should be able to cover the aquarium under 30 minutes
