About Chikka Tirupati Temple, Bengaluru

Translated as small, the ChikkaTirupathi temple is actually the miniature of the main Tirupathi temple in Andhra Pradesh. It is believed, one should visit this temple before visiting Tirupathi temple to get the blessings of the Lord. As for the history of this temple, it was constructed during Cholas period. As per temple history records, in Hindu Epic Mahabharatha - Lord Agni (god of fire) during Kandava Dahana - was punished with a curse from a snake "Takshak". • 🎟️No charge for entry. 🌟Entrance 'Gopuram' was tall and majestic. 😍Golden 'Gopuram' was a real treat to eyes. 🙏Masterpiece architecture are found all over the temple. 💍A place for marriage too. 🤗Will definitely ensure to freshen up our thoughts. 📷Great place for capturing moments. 🍟No snacks are available inside. 👌Overall, such a beautiful experience it was.

  • Was waiting to visit this temple since a very long time. Chikka Tirupati is very popular. The diety looks extremely beautiful. Unfortunately, the crowd management needs to be much much better. The area surrounding the temple was very dirty and needs much better housekeeping. All the used food plates, plastic made the entire place very unhygienic. Was hoping to have a better experience.

  • One of the oldest Hindu temples of Lord Venkateswara. Temple is Spacious. Huge parking lot.

  • History of this temple speaks about the prominent of it. It's architecture is very beautiful. Good place to visit with the family, after darshan you spend time in the village and have a lunch together. Best to visit on Saturday as it is auspicious day for srivaru. Saturday's there will be a market behind temple, it gives childhood memories when we visit. Please carry cash as there is no proper ATM service there. Highly recommend to carry your own food if there is a plan to have lunch. Overall a good place to go and get the divinity out of us. Happy govindaaa!
