Chikka Tirupati Temple - Review
Translated as small, the ChikkaTirupathi temple is actually the miniature of the main Tirupathi temple in Andhra Pradesh. It is believed, one should visit this temple before visiting Tirupathi temple to get the blessings of the Lord. As for the history of this temple, it was constructed during Cholas period. As per temple history records, in Hindu Epic Mahabharatha - Lord Agni (god of fire) during Kandava Dahana - was punished with a curse from a snake "Takshak". To overcome this, lord agni conducted hard meditation of Lord Vishnu. Pleased with his praying, Lord Vishnu appeared before Agni and blessed him with curse redemption. Suffused with such a history and mythology, this temple inspires imagination as well as reverence.

Chikka Tirupati Temple, Bengaluru Reviews
One of the old temples in Kolar. Deity is Lord Venkataramana (Vishnu). Temple premises is well maintained and clean. Not so crowded, can have darshana within 10 minutes.Temple is situated next to the main road hence one can use even public transportation to reach this place. Outside temple premises toilet and bath facilities is available. Be cautious while carrying eatables since lot of monkey's exists in and around the temple.
I have been to the temple twice. Parking had to be beside the road. The temple is undergoing renovations and probably will get better when the main gopura is done. Peaceful place. The lord is with his consorts so there is no separate places for the other goddesses.
Divinely place.. a must visit temple. morning abhiseka starts at 6-7 am. Mangalarthi around 7.30 to 8. Food served from 12 pm. Temple will be open from morning till evening 7 pm.
Liked the temple and location. Try to go on Saturday to get the blessings as well as the village effect of market. Fresh vegetables are available here to carry.
Good place. Darshan won't take much time. Main thing queue lines properly.
