Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain, Bengaluru Reviews

  • The Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain in Bangalore, was created in 1995. It is probably the most technically advanced and the biggest fountain in India. One of the major tourist attraction in Bangalore, the fountain is located in the heart of city on the Raj Bhawan road. Based on multimedia technology, industry standard MIDI interfaces and hardware architecture, this musical fountain has numerous features that intrigue the audience and leave them spell-bound. Shows are scheduled on daily basis in the evening for about half an hour- between 7 PM to 7:30 PM and 8 Pm to 8:30 PM.

  • Nice 30 min musical fountain show. Two shows are their every evening. Tickets are given by 5 pm. Entry ticket of Rs.30 for one person. Adjoining park is quiet and green. Some artefacts of defence and space vehicles kept their for display. Overall good experience.

  • Toilets are not maintained well. But the place is otherwise very beautiful. A very refreshing evening with family/friend/alone, followed by dinner in Cunningham road is an agreeable idea of an evening. Cunningham road is just a 5 minutes walk away

  • It is well maintained, has a lot of green - some very old trees and hug place for kids to play. There is no food outlet inside or nearby so carry enough stuff. The musical fountain in itself is a good watch but nothing spectacular.

  • This public place is a marvel and must do experience while in Bangalore. It committed directly with Brindavan Gardens of Mysore as a musical fountain. The sheer order of execution of the show, maintenance of the park location, ample parking area, sitting area coupled with magical super cheap pricing makes it stunning. Mandatory to take along family or kids. Further the attraction can be clubbed with Nehru Planterium which is just opposite and the evening becomes thoroughly memorable.
