Infant Jesus Shrine - Review
Infant Jesus Shrine is one of the Christian attractions of Bangalore that attracts people with its construction and spiritual belief. Designed by architects, Thomas Associates, this church has a fan shaped hall that can accommodate about 2500 people with 9 faces and openings running all round the church. The podium is raised above road level with steps and ramp on either side. The interior of the church is so designed that wherever people are seated they will feel that the altar is facing them. The main mural which is 6x9 metres replicates the nativity scene in the nativity church of Jerusalem. Do visit this church to experience the diversity of religions across Bangalore.

Infant Jesus Shrine, Bengaluru Reviews
It's one of Bangalores best known churches where people from all Faith's throng because of their faith and belief. The only problem is that how are the elderly and the infirm supposed to worship if no lift has been provided for them. One cannot expect them to climb 15 odd steps from the underground parking to go to church. Please rectify this at the earliest. Other than this major grouse the church is as Grand and beautiful as ever
One of the Very Famous catholic Shrines in Bangalore, you will be able to get multi lingual mass here, Thursdays are the special days here at the Infant Jesus Shrine, on the First Thursdays of the Month there will be Rosary, car procession and benediction in the evenings. You have a spiritual gift shop associated with the Shrine in this church which is run by the sisters. You will have multiple Tamil masses here on Sundays and Thursdays. On First Thursdays of the Month, if you are visiting anticipate huge crowd. A must visit place for Catholics in Bangalore.
Woww this church is really a very good and beautiful church in Bangalore. The paintings here are very detailed and interesting one. The atmosphere is very cool and peaceful. I just love visiting this church. One of my favourite church in Bangalore.
It is a Roman Catholic church in Bangalore, in Vivek Nagar. The church is dedicated to Infant Jesus. One of the most famous church in Bangalore. Known for miracles of Infant Jesus shrine. Parking is available for minimal cost Rs. 10 in the basement. Road to the church is always crowded and bit narrow.
This church is located in the downtown Vivek nagar and has a narrow approach road - lined with shops selling flowers to hardware. If you enter the church premises, what greets you is the unusual construction of the church. It has lofty concrete columns supported by big steel beams. It has a massive woodcut 'draped' around the center. I would say this church has possibly one of the lowest echo and reverberation threshold values for a church. They have anti-echo panels lining the roof and well positioned roof mounted speaker pods. This church offers mass in 3 languages on most days - English, Tamil and Kannada. The small church before the newly constructed church still has the infant Jesus statue that attracted so many thousands of devotees over the years. If you can take a quiet moment in this shrine (on a day other than a Thursday), you can pray intently without the entire world trampling on you. On the narrow aisle straddling across the front yard, they have positioned 2 smaller statues of Infant Jesus - so that the faithful can touch and garland the statues. They have a basement below the church where you can park almost 200 cars.
