I had a lot of fun looking at all the amazing art that was displayed in the exhibition on 6th Jan 2019. Some art works were truly breathtaking and it felt like some of the art works would just come to life and walk amongst us. Look at the photos for more details on what I was trying to say. The exhibition was crowded and the love for art in people was truly visible. The exhibition was well organized and all in all I had an amazing experience :)
The place had hosted a flea market and I had been there to check it out. The flea market was full of stalls offering different things - clothes, trinkets, fake jewellery, sweets, dry fruits, furniture, traditional toys, painting workshop, etc. Another good thing about this place is that it has a good canteen facility with outdoor sitting. Although, one will have monkeys for company. However, the monkeys were docile and confined themselves to the waste bins and trees. And, the toilet facility here is really good. I mean as good as in a mall. They are well maintained. It is pay and use. The toilets are to the left of the canteen and your right if you are facing the canteen. The campus is full of trees. A luxury nowadays. No comments about the Chitrakala Parishath as I did not step into the building!
A good art gallery with lot of good vibes. If one wants to just come and explore something new then this art gallery is a good place to be at. Also, if you are really into it then there is a high probability that you will like it here as they have a huge collection. Vibes are awesome. You can see the creativity floating around through the walls of this place. You will also see a great and unique side of people which you don't get to see at Bars or pubs
There will be atleast one moment, where you will feel taking up painting or the other arts displayed as a hobby. This place always has a festival going on. They do an incredible job of promoting arts. The performance by a visiting artiste group is awesome to watch. They conduct full time courses for those among us who want to give their creativity full flight.
Beautiful campus. Excellent artwork. The art supplies are one of the most economical in Bangalore. The canteen serves decent vegetarian food. The parking gets full on occasion when there are exhibitions in place, so it's better to take public transport to get here.
