Koshy's, Bengaluru Reviews

  • Nice ambience and service is really good! But food is nothing exceptional. Tried french fries, fish fingers, & cream of chicken soup which was very less in quantity and taste was just ok. Cream of chicken soup tasted like few pieces of cold chicken pieces thrown in milk and water. Fish finger was chewy and bland. Quantity is good for one person only. Otherwise the decor and ambience is really good, very well maintained interior and clean.

  • Relaxed, slow and the typical old days' touch! The right wing is air-conditioned. The left one is not. The right one had just lunch. The left one (as we were told) had lunch and snacks as well served. We requested for what they would recommend for a vegetarian meal and the patty-platter (I don't recall the exact name) was served. It was not filling enough, but okay to eat (not too good, not bad either). The prawn-noodle was 3/5. Less oil could have been better. Most desserts were not available!! Billing was slow and we had to literally ask for water rather than someone just bringing it up when the glass was consumed! Overall, an okay experience.

  • Iconic Bangalore place. Good place to catch up for a chat over beer, coffee, fries etc. Still draws some of the best crowd of Bangalore. Simple and dependable service.

  • Amazing food. The place is really crowded but its really worth the wait. The omelette is so tasty and filling. The French toast is yummy too, thick slices and really tasty. The only negative I would say is the sitting area is toooooo congested and its a little too stuffy.

  • The place can do with more light. The service is quick and one of the most courteous. Also the place can serve more healthy alternatives which be as simple as brown bread sandwiches. The food is of good quality. The place is bit on pricier side I think owing to the heritage value it attaches to itself.
