Located very near to the famous Lalbagh, the M N Krishna Rao park is one of the oldest parks in the city and boasts of beautiful trees with large canopies. Named after in memory of late MN Krishna Rao, Dewan of Mysore who had donated Rs 20,000 to setup the park, this park offers as a natural haven amidst the otherwise bustling city of Bangalore. M. N. Krishna Rao Park, Bengaluru Reviews
Best place for morning and evening walk.. Well maintained. Space to be play volleyball, ,stage for conducting events, skating track is there. Morning free yoga conducted here. Equipments for exercise available and used freely. There is timing for entry in morning and evening.
It is a v well developed park ,full of greenery, walking track. Senior citizens gym is provided. Good number of benches. E toilet is there. In the play ground youngsters play cricket, shuttlecock. Irrespective of caste colour region people of all age groups come here for fresh air. Each maintains his/her own pace.
One of the very good parks I have ever visited in Bangalore. A place u can go for morning run, exercise and watch some guys practising dance. Best place for kids to play and enjoy the evenings. It's very clean, but after sunset mosquitoes start attacking. Has a running track of almost more than 750 mts. Generally they don't allow your pets inside the park, perhaps they have many street dogs already inside it. It has a basket ball court adjacent to it. Yoga classes will be often conducted by a yoga instructor.
Very good place for daily commute. One round in the park covers exactly 900 metres. Hence if you put 3 or 4 full rounds in the park you can easily cover a distance of around 3 to 3.5 Kms. Also there are lot of children playing equipments in the park. It gives lot of relief for the people who finish office and come to park for little activity. I would strongly feel this is one of the best parks in south Bangalore. I spend some time in the mornings or evenings or in the weekends by walking around the park to keep myself fit.
One of the oldest in Bangalore. Though small and crowded now a days, there is space for every visitor. Juice and chats at Ganesha Juice Centre round the corner is a must eat place. Great juices and super chats.
