MTR, Bengaluru Reviews
Best place in Bangalore to have South Indian food. Price is reasonable and one needs to wait to get a reservation. Worth the wait and the money. A must visit iconic place where the MTR chain started. They have kept the building simple and the way it was. Take a stroll around the Lalbaugh area and drop by here for a cup of coffee and other delicious food!
As per my friends comments, this is one of the best places to have lunch in Bangalore for South Indian cuisine. For foreigners it is quite a remarkable experience, have the food served the Indian Style with many varieties, in this place you will get the full menu at once, no need to think of what you want, you just wait for your turn and then food starts to come one by one, multiple include curry, rice, chutney (coconut salsa) and something like tortilla. The only downside is the spices Indian food has is sometimes way too much even for Mexicans, I couldn’t handle the spices very well, good thing your glass of water gets refilled
Serves a splurging South Indian lunch. The taste was good enough and the quantity and elements of the lunch gets you SO full that you wish you hadn't eaten so much. The servers at this place are wonderful! Expect a huge crowd waiting to be seated.
The taste is so amazing, never I have ever had any veg dish so tasty ever. I would really recommend you all to visit this hotel. And it's one of the oldest hotels in Bangalore, there's a hell of history and mystery of the recipe they follow. If you ever visit Lal Bagh, and thinking about having veg. *MTR is the best*
Delicious South Indian fast food and meal place. Every time you visit it's mouth watering food. Till date not even a single visit I have returned with dissatisfaction. It's definitely value for money you spend.
