Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple - Review
One of the oldest temples of Bangalore, the Sri Someshwara Swamy temple is an ancient temple that was built during the Chola period and acts as an exquisite example of Indian architecture. Located in Ulsoor, this temple was built by Kempa Gowda and exhibits the grandeur of the Chola kings. Inside, there are a large number of elaborately carved pillars that beautify the temple further. Interestingly, the pillars are said to produce the sounds of musical instruments when tapped. If you wish to see this temple in full beauty and magnificence, visit it during the Shivaratri Festival.

Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple, Bengaluru Reviews
Amazing Temple with beautiful architecture, located in the heart of Bangalore City, Ulsoor.. Pillars in the temple are marvelous with beautiful sculptures. Very Peaceful all can worship all deities. Parking car a very challenging. A must Temple
A heritage temple in the city center vicinity. Temple is big and calm. Suggest to visit early in morning for more calm & peaceful atmosphere. Maintainance could have been improved and could have made as a good tourist attraction. Good spiritual place.
Lovely place. Divine and serene. Lots of temples inside and a wonderful feeling visiting the historic temple.
I love this place, they have renovated and repainted the gopurams so it's even more colorful and it's nearly maintained. The workers keep cleaning. If u want a peaceful place in the city and don't want to fell like the city, visit this temple. They do annadanam also, so try to donate money by putting in hundial only or by getting Rice Bags directly.
Chola's period construction..after that Vijayanagara king's more than developed..very good structures.. interesting place..gopura and mantapa's very beautiful..
