This is one of the oldest churches belonging to the Archdiocese of Bangalore that still grace the city today. Founded in July 1841, this church is dedicated to the honour of the blessed Trinity, under the name of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Archangel Michael, and was dedicated as the "Church of the Assumption". The name of this church was named after the Irish troops were stationed in the surrounding area. Do visit this church for a religious immersion in Christianity and its belief.

  • Great location in the heart of the city.. Still away from the noise and commotion. Nice architecture and well maintained compound.. Holy mass on Saturday and Sundays..

  • One of the oldest churches from the British era. Heard from the community that this church was constructed especially to serve the spiritual needs of worshippers of Irish origin. So the Patron Saint St. Patrick. It's a neat and clean place. Has a large open space in front. This curch is conducive for prayer. They have grand church festivals here.

  • Went there for Christmas eve. The church was closed by 6pm. Disappointed by that but a very beautiful church.
