Founded in July 1841, this church is dedicated to the honour of the blessed Trinity, under the name of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Archangel Michael, and was dedicated as the "Church of the Assumption". St Patrick's Church, Bengaluru Reviews

  • Holy Week service is conducted very well here. Service is not tri-lingual as it is in many other churches but is only in English and this works well for us. When attending service here we look forward to Rev. Monsignor C. Francis coming up to give the sermon, introduction, announcements, etc. because his talks are always filled with humorous anecdotes. The rendition of Via Dolorosa on Good Friday this year (2018) transported us to different world altogether

  • #POSTED #PUBLICLY in Xmas 2017 Vacation season during Level 1 Learning phase, PFB. Studied in and around the high-school run by this church. The church is almost 200 year old and a major landmark on Residency Road. #Posting #Publicly continued in Jan and Prep Exams b/w March April May results declaration stages. Became level 2. #posting #withPics of #St.Valentine Day sessions might elevate us next to Level 10 asap! Trailing like #RCB and just few #FLASHINTHEPANABD POSTS 😣

  • The church is open for public. The foundation for St. Patrick's church was laid in July 1841, and the church completed by the end of 1844. The church was dedicated to the honour of the Trinity, in the name of the Virgin Mary and the Archangel Michael, and was dedicated as the "Church of the Assumption". But as it was popular with Irish troops living in the area it came to be known as St. Patrick's Church. The church management, runs the St. Anthony's Oratory, St. Patrick's Shopping Complex, St. Patrick's Boys' Home, The St. Patrick's Industrial Training Institute, a PUC College, a Community College, a Nursery School and the St. Patrick's Middle and High School - all on the same campus. Its a delight to see a historic church undertake so much training and education.

  • St. Antony's Shrine is most visited place, especially on Tuesdays. The services and adoration on Tuesdays is very good.

  • One of the oldest churches in the city and a Gothic style church. A must visit when in the mg road, shantala Nagar area. One of the most posh areas in the city.
