  • Simple and easy morning trekking place. Best suitable for beginners. You need to walk few kilometers inside the Forest surrounded by lot of trees. It also has some huge trees on top of the hill. There couple of temples on top of the hill. If you are lucky, you can spot some peacocks. During weekends you will find lot of groups coming to this place including families.

  • Paradise away from the city. Even though there more apts and development than before it's still a beautiful walk. Make sure you catch sunrise. Not only will you get the sun riding above the hill but also see peacocks, if you're lucky. You'll definitely hear them. There's a small temple at the top with a beautiful banyan tree and great views. I was saddened to find garbage there last time. Please be mindful and not leave the place in a mess. Enjoy the walk through the forest 😀

  • Can't believe this is part of bangalore. Feels real country side. Good spot for trekking / hiking. Better to go in groups of at least 5 people. Locals said there are wild animals in the forest. We were looking to say hello, but didn't meet any :)

  • Best place to hang out with your friends. A good place for trekking, climbing , cycling ! Yes, you read it right, people do come here for cycling and climbing. There is a temple at the top of the mountain. Beautifully formed rocks can be your destination for some amazing clicks. You can take your vehicle on top of the mountain but I have never explored the route. I always preferred climbing it ! There was a back gate (not literally a gate) previously, but now it's been closed. Not safe once the sun starts disappearing into the clouds.

  • For a half a trip its a good place. Need more facilities. Safe to go only as a group. One has to take food and water to this place.
