  • The place is usually very crowded and one needs to be prepared for a long wait period before they can find a seat inside the restaurant. The place is mainly famous because it has been running for a very long time (since 1943). The food served here tastes nothing great but it's not bad either. However the quality of food and service is something that can be admired. The price is reasonable for the food served. If you do have the time, I'd recommend you to visit this place for once to experience it.

  • Place gets crowded and people hang on your backs to make a seat. They try their best to organize based on first come first reserve, despite this people sneak in. Their mouth watering crispy Dosas are the best. I have been their customer for a very long time since 1980s and every time I visit Bangalore I make it a point to visit at least once if not many times. As far as I know this is one of oldest restaurant opened in 1943 and Friday being a holiday as India got its Independence day on a Friday in 1947.

  • Overrated food. Lousy wait times. Very expensive.

  • Not worth the wait. Chutney is mediocre. Not worth the hype that it carries.

  • Best place for breakfast. Legendary. You have wait for long for table but it's totally worth it. Loved the food.
