Visveswaraya Industrial And Technological Museum, Bengaluru Reviews

  • Such an interactive, fun museum. They have working models of so many equipments and machinery starting from door locks to diesel engines to nuclear power plants to a light switch. I recently revisited this place with my friend and we realized how this place makes engineering and science so much easier to understand (even rocket science). We had both gone as kids earlier, even though we do remember having lots of fun back then too but to go now was entirely different. It is unbelievable the kind of visionary the people who created this museum had in order to make everything so simple to understand yet fun to participate in too. Allow a good 2 hours for this one. Must visit!

  • It is a very interesting place for those who has interest in science subject. This museum explain how the technological advancement occur in the field of science. This place is also useful to engineering students specially automobile and mechanical branch students. Here one can find different kind of engine of used in different types of vehicles. The center of attraction is the wright brother airplane. I will not going to say anything more and just want to say that one should must visit this awesome place to enhance knowledge and understand science fact. Hope this will increase your curiosity to visit this museum...

  • Let me just start by saying that I'm the type of person that normally dreads going to museums. As you guessed it, this was the exception. The museum was absolutely fascinating and well thought out. It's a great place for people of all ages to visit, especially kids. They have amazing working models of nearly every scientific concept you can think of that helps understand the concept better. My favourite was the rotating balls that could somehow explain how a train track works. I wish I had learnt science this way as a kid. I've seen dozens of museums around but there's nothing quite like this one.

  • A must visit place for science lovers and knowledge seekers especially students. A must visit place in Bangalore...This is something so different and good. An international level museum This industrial and technological museum is a good place to spend time and earn knowledge.high-school to engineering students will find it useful. Entry fee is Rs.50 per head. Thereafter some 3D shows at certain timings. If you plan to visit with children, please plan for a whole day.

  • One of the best technical museum I have seen. Very nicely maintained... Lots of stuff which explains science with fun... Original Aircraft engines and turbines on display... Many other old instruments in display which are no longer in use... Everyone must visit it once specially kids because so many concepts and principles which can't be understood by reading only are shown in museum in working model. Every floor dedicated to different branch of engineering like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer apart from it.... Biology, Physics Chemistry and great fun stuff also available... One 4D movie theatre also there one half an hour movie show... Just near by Cubbon Park after visiting museum one can enjoy beautiful park too.....
