  • Staff is nice and somewhat help! Restaurant has great food at reasonable price and good service. Not a 5-star hotel but will work. Somewhat far from the good places, so prepare to sit in traffic!

  • This is the only 1 budget hotel that I've stayed without pain on the wall! Yes, naked room wall, no painting. Really strange! The room a bit run down. Need to walk about 800m to the nearest MRT. Not recommend to stay here!

  • Forget star ratings here. This is an economy hotel with an emphasis on economy. It's clean, has a real nice rooftop pool and appears to be well maintained. But, there is no breakfast service, though at time of booking I was advised that the room rate included one breakfast. And, there are no nearby restaurants, only a couple of street food vendors. There is no electric kettle to make a morning cup of tea or coffee, or an evening cup of Mama noodles. There is no handsoap packet, though the desk advised there are small cachets of liquid soap that replace the standard soap packet. Only problem was, my room had none. Room service is hit and miss; second day service saw the bed straightened out and towels replaced, but no fresh glassware.

  • After spending a few nights near Khao San road we were glad to have a night to relax in the pool away from the tourist traps. There's not much near the hotel, but you can walk to Huai Kwang night market where you can find street food and local restaurants for a good price (and no western tourist in sight!). Also the pool on the rooftop is open till 9 so we just got some beer and admired the Bangkok skyline at night. Wouldn't recommend for people wanting to do main tourist sites as it is a bit out of the way, but great for having a more chilled out night. In the room itself, the minimalist decor of bare concrete walls made it feel a bit like some sort of car park, but it was clean, spacious, bed was soft and there was a hot shower. Compared to the dives you will pay the same price for in other parts of town, this hotel is luxury.
