Centre Point Hotel Silom, Bangkok Reviews
This should be considered a luxury hotel. The price was very reasonable and the rooms were just as luxurious as the Intercontinentals. This was a great location on top of the Robinson Dept. Mall and the pool was nice and large. I was mostly impressed by the high tech toilets which were equipped with seat warmers and can clean your butt hole for you at the same time.
Stay here for 4 nights. This place is the best ever since we've been staying in BKK, great location, very easy to get around, many good local foods. The room is huge with all facilities we needed. Great breakfast and nice swimming pool.
Room is big, bathroom is adequate with separate tub and shower, toilet seat has a lot of gadgets, A/C is phenomenal, bed is firm, pillows are comfortable, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, 2 burner top, washing machine, 2-chair dinette, plates and utensils, business desk, tv, boom box, security safe, closet, shelving, lots of mirrors, no smoking hotel, connected to Robinson's shopping center with Tops Market in the basement level. Breakfast is buffet and it's adequate with plenty of options. Street market right outside on both sides of the hotel.
We enjoyed the city views and convenience to the river, where you can take boats to the palace area. Being above the mall was convenient. The pool was nice but cold water. When we were there in December, the pool only got sun in the morning. The room service is okay, but better food (Nalin Kitchen, Queen of Curry, Panlee Bakery, etc.) is just steps away. This is a quieter area, more of a business type of area, than Sukhumvit, which we also enjoyed.
The location of Centre Point Silom is great! Only a few minutes walk to the BTS station and the Chao Praya express boat pier. Located right next to a bazaar, you can experience local market very easily. The room is very spacious but a little dated. The amenities is great! There's a washing machine in our room, so it's a nice feature after a hot humid day in Bangkok. Staff are very friendly, and breakfast selection is great!
