  • The Took Lae Dee restaurant inside Foodland is one of my favorite places in the area to eat for a number of reasons: it's open 24 hours 7 days a week, the food is tasty, and it is inexpensive. Plus, because it's inside the supermarket, I can also do my shopping. Service is adequate (okay but slow) and all seats are at a large bar. It's kind of like the lunch counters at the old Montgomery Ward stores in the US but with a more interesting menu. You can get numerous western dishes (American and European) in addition to the Thai food and breakfast is always available. Sometimes it is crowded but I have never been unable to find a seat and the clientele is a mix of races and ethnicities so you hear snippets of conversation in English, French, German, Dutch, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, and others I can't identify. All around, it's an interesting place to park yourself for a (sort of) quick meal.

  • It's like most supermarkets. Nothing special nothing bad. Some home products from Britain. Like all food not from home its similar but a little bit different. That's to be expected in a foreign land. It's not a huge place but enough for the holiday shopper looking to make a homely snack, sandwich or cuppa.

  • Great place to shop for snacks, food household items. They also have Took Lae Dee restaurant inside. I really liked the pad li mao! Spicy fried noodle w chicken!
