Klub-hotel Bangkok, Bangkok Reviews - Write a Review
This is a fantastic Hotel with modern designs, wonderful decor and really great service. The Hotel is clean, spacious and well maintained and the rooms are excellent, in space + decor. The shower is really pleasant, but, the toilet is a bit cramped for space. The breakfast is good with a mix of Western and Local dishes. The Hotel is in an alley away from the main street, but, the Hotel has a complimentary "tuk-tuk" service, even at very late hours of the day. The staff are very attentive, efficient and look really willing to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible, check in / out was an absolute breeze. Overall, we had a memorable experience at this hotel and would recommend it to fellow travellers.
We rent 3 corner rooms and all are spacious, nice lobby, nice location too for shopping spree. However, the only deduction for me to give five stars are the front desk officers, most of them have very poor english and turn to be rude and mumbling with sour face in Thai language because they don't understand what we meant. For god sake they are on hospitality business and if they can't put a poker face handling customer, they better off doing back office.
Good breakfast, room ok, don't come with baby to this hotel. It is a 3.5 star max. When booking, we specifically requested a crib/cot for our one year old baby. The booking was made on hotel's website. When we arrived, at 2300, after 11 hrs flight - the reception guy said... sorry, don't have... few times without offering any solution. It didn't help that we wrote this on our booking request and we expected to be notified if there is a problom... but it was really asking too much from this hotel and this reception guy. His english level was extremely low and practically was almost impisdible to understand. Eventually we got additional bed for our room. Didnt help much. Upon checkout - the taxi prices are about twice than if you catch on the street with a meter. The hotel staff is very young and dont expect any extra service when it comes to anything more than simple/standard.
It is located very near platinum shopping mall which is one of the more popular shopping destination. However, it is very deep in one of the street alley and it is one way in. Often times, the taxi drivers do not really know of the place and instead you will have to stop outside on the main road and walk in yourself. This can get quite scary when it is at night as the alley is not exactly very well lit. The room is decently sized and it looks pretty modern. The furniture looks new and seems like those that you can get from ikea. The room also provide a very long table for you to place your stuff. In short it feels a lot like a school hostel room, rather than a hotel. Good enough to just spend the night to sleep in.
Great place and price. Clean and awesome service. Staffs are very friendly. Nice breakfast. Massage places are in a walking distance of 5 mins or so. Hotel provide free rides to the main road. And from there, it is only 5 mins walk to Platinum Mall.
