Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok Reviews

  • It is undoubtedly one of the great hotels. Wonderful location, exterior and interior. Great staff, very friendly. Facilities very well maintained. Comes with a price tag though. I especially recommend having tea at the author's lounge which is an amazing experience. Beautifully prepared foods, great tea and a unique atmosphere. Dress well, if you do not want to stand out.

  • There's a reason this is touted as "The Best Hotel in Thailand", and that reasoning boils down to one conclusion, it does not disappoint. From the gates to the walkways, to the Bboo Bar and the dining halls, all were a sight to see and only there for you. If I had to describe it, then it's like a modern touch of The Beast's castle once Bell had lifted the curse. But bigger. And grand. The toilets downstairs always have a staff standing inside, tending to the drying towels, for crying out loud! This is an insane place and would be worth a stay from those who want to be pampered. The private butler adds to that, too, but only if you opt for the even-more-expensive suites.

  • One of the best hotels in Bangkok. It's clean, service is great, and the dessert is fantastic. Highly recommended hotel to stay at or even visit for a nice quiet night out. Just, make sure to bring some anti-mosquito spray. Oh wait, my third cousin says you don't have to, just ask and you'll receive. Phone about to die? It's alright, just ask, and you will receive a portable phone charger.

  • My family travels often and has been fortunate to stay in many fine hotels. Never have we stayed at a hotel with the excellence of Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Facilities, staff, service are all at an exceptional level of quality. We stayed for 3 nights and all expectations were exceeded. We would never visit Bangkok and stay anywhere else.

  • Stayed here many times over last 5 years. I think this is the most classy and down to every details hotel service in the world. All tje other ultra luxury hotels I stayed at, should learn from MOBKK. If you are not a royal, they will make you feel as though you are, yet you will feel at home, relax, cosy. They just read your mind and mood and needs, and make everything be perfect in a seamless way.
