  • Used to be my haunt for traditional authentic Thai food. But I think we went on the wrong day. It was Thai mothers day. Horrible service horrible food. Not to be repeated. This is the original mango tree location BTW. Giving 4 stars because it used to be AWESOME so if you havent tried it, pls give it a chance.

  • Watch the credit/debit card! Mango Tree charged 5261 baht to my Australian card and it duly showed up on my statement a day later as "pending" which is usual practice. It was also converted to AUD correctly. A few days later the transaction went through again, but this time it was 400 baht more than the original bill - 5661 baht converted to AUD at about $15 more. The first correct transaction disappeared from my statement and the higher one remained.

  • Food lacking in flavor. Very BLAH. Had sweet and sour chicken. No flavor. Hospital food. The A/C was ok too. Had better frozen dinners.

  • This place was tucked away in a location you wouldn't expect. As soon as you walk in, it's like entering a 5 star restaurant. The outdoor patio is beautifully done. Service is great too. Their food for lunch was good but not very good consistently. There are traditional dishes to choose from but nothing stuck out to me except their virgin daiquiri, which was delicious!

  • We came here after asking the person who gave us a massage where a good restaurant was. It's a lovely setting with tables indoors & outdoors. It's very green & there is a water feature with fish & a stage for live music. It is a little more pricey compared to other restaurants in Thailand but the food was delicious & the cocktails were fantastic. We had shrimp spring rolls, chicken cashew, and duck salad. The waiter didn't speak English very well nor understood us. I'd eat here again as the atmosphere was nice & the food was great.
