Sab X2 ::: Original Thai Wonton Mee (soi 19), Bangkok Reviews
Too many tourists coming to this place. The staff don't seem to be paying attention to the customers except when you finished and they quickly cleared the bowl, expecting you to leave so that they can usher in the next customer. It is like a race for consuming food. For 100 baht, the food portion is rather small and considered expensive when compared to the street food. There's better and cheaper food out there. Would probably just visit it once and not going back after.
Overall, the experience was not the best. If you’re going there to try once, I would say, go for it! But not worth the second trip. The bowl of noodles cost 100baht each - available dry or soup. The portion is really small and there’s no distinct or special taste about it. The atmosphere is really stressful - why I say this is because of the following: A. The staffs are really unfriendly and rushing you - forcing you to cramp into small tables sharing with others. B. Posters all over the store saying that “No Branch in Singapore” you just really feel so much hate in the place. C. The place is really crowded, so they rush you to finish your food. The braised meat rice is okay, the ones in Taiwan taste much better though. In any case, much better than the wanton. I would say that many wanton noodle places in singapore could beat this store hands down.
Barely passable place. Long queue where they force you to share over cramped tables and pay 100baht for small portions of food. Wanton noodles are lousy but the braised pork rice is amazing.seems to advertise heavily that there are no branches in Singapore to promote the "exclusiveness" where food cannot transcend countries of religion
Wanton noodle just passable. I prefer the pork rice but it is too pricy for 100baht per dish. Fat waitress keep ask you squeeze with other customers when there is empty table around.
Very rude staff! Not worth for even a single visit. There are lots more nice wonton noodle in Bangkok which is far more better than this one
