The Aris Hostel, Bangkok Reviews

  • Good hostel pretty cheap. Showers are good just keep flip flops on ..toilets are clean. Staff are nice free towels. Lounge area has free water tea coffee ice coffee was great. Can get noise from below all night with live bands down stairs. Basically it's a good way up the stairs with heavy bags but it's a good hostel for back packers

  • Good location, good price. We (a couple) had a double bed in our dormitory 😂 Breakfast is late (from 9 to 11) and not good. Wi-fi mostly doesn't work.

  • The prices are inconsistent, we stayed here a week ago and paid 140baht for a 6 bed dorm, now we are paying 180baht for a 10 bed dorm. There is no hot water. Showers and tiolets arent the nicest. Also the wifi is terrible, pretty much unusable. We had “air con” in our room but we had no remote and the staff obly turned it on overnight and was set at 25’ which everyone agreed was pointless. Annoyingly it is about 4 floors up the buulding with no elevator. The good things are that its in a good location and is very quiet. Free breakfast and a nice lounge area.

  • FAKE REVIEWS! On arrival at this hole i was suprised it had suck good reviews and ratings. That was until i saw the sign 'leave a good review and get a free night'. We had booked 4 nights but left about 2 hours after we arrived. Our room had no reading lights, only some beds had power sockets to charge our phones, not all of them. it had pipes going through it that were giving off so much heat we couldnt stay in the room. There was no window. It was so uncomfortable we couldnt even stay one night. Refused to give us a refund even tho the facilities description was a lie.

  • Unhelpful staff, was also pestered quite a bit. Breakfast was pretty woeful. Plus side is location and the rooms were quite and cool despite staying in a 10 bed.
