The New Rot Fai Market Ratchada, Bangkok Reviews
Definitely one of more popular night markets. This night market consists of a big section of food & beverage stalls (about 5 rows), and another section of stalls selling merchandises such as clothing, bags, footwear, etc. And lastly no nightlife is complete without bars. There is quite a collection of bars here as well. Some offering huge TV screens showing live sports, a couple of bars are 2 storeys. The upper deck is open air and offers quite a view of the whole night market. Highly recommended to visit.
Nice night market to walk. Many things to eat, seafood and snacks.. N many things to shop. Go on a weekday n not to late. Cos it get more n more crowd as the night goes. U can buy return train tickets first. As there will be a long q for ticket at the time you r going back. It is nice but depending on crowd n weather too.
Great food and reasonable price of goods to buy. Locals are also here to shop and eat. Tourists must be here to seek great food and clothes. This is it. Here are the affordable food and clothes. Be smart tourist, go to a place where locals will go too. Then you can expect to buy cheaper things. If not you just a tourist being buy expensive things for the same items.
By far the best night market in Bangkok! The stall helpers are very friendly. You will see a variety of food and goods sold here. There is the ever-popular fried insects to try - grasshoppers and more! Not to mention, you can try the Thai milk tea, and the huge selection of seafood cooked fresh. Ps: There is one shop selling Halal food all the way to the end. We went on Monday night, and it was still open apparently! Worth the trip!
I thoroughly enjoyed this market, the prices were relatively cheap with some exceptions. The locals seemed to really enjoy it as well. There are nice perfumes, makeup, women’s clothes and great bars all in the same market. This was a nice experience. I went with my friend and as women we felt very safe even after midnight as it is very lively and just off the Main Street. We got our nails done here for 250 bhat.
