You just won’t be able to miss the huge sign saying The Street, and the place somehow attracts you to its fun vibe. One of the most popular all in one entertainment and shopping centers, The Street is a 24 hour, round-the-clock mall. The relatively new mall is a big among the locals, and is gaining popularity among the tourist crowd too. With a number of shopping, dining and entertainment options, the Street has pioneered the trend of all forms of diverting activities under one roof in Bangkok and is among the first to be open all night. The Street is all things hip and happening, and a great place for fun evening!
I really like this place. It's still quite new and clean but for some reason hasn't yet caught the attention of masses so it's never too busy, even at peak hours. It stays open for 24 hours and has many affordable and good restaurants plus a few coffee shops and a food court. Also a good place to work for a moment with a laptop.
Our hotel was 5 minutes walk from The Street, so we spent a few evenings here enjoying the atmosphere. There's a good variety of shops and eateries with an entertainment arcade upstairs. An interesting concept is the co-working space which allows people to gather together in a comfortable environment with access to food, amenities and services such as power points and WiFi internet.
The mall is quite unique in term of restaurants and shops. Not too crowded. Walking distance from the nearest MRT station.
This place is awesome, there’re a few 24 hour restaurants, 24 hr gym convenience store and plenty of shops from clothing, kitchenware, bookstore to beauty , salon etc.. there are also some rest areas where you can read a book or just chill.
The Street Ratchada is a relatively new shopping center not far from Esplanade in Ratchada in Bangkok. It is located where the now closed Robinson used to be. It is filled with different shops, restaurants and coffeeshops including Starbucks. It is clean and nice. If you register you get 1 hour free wifi but many shops including Starbucks offer free wifi. Due to proximity to other shopping center and competition it is not as busy or popular as Esplanade but certainly worth visiting.
