Thrive The Hostel, Bangkok Reviews
this industrial-unfinished bussiness theme hostel is too dark and too gloomy at night. slept on the first floor, with a bar few meters from it, loud noisy from people chatting and music blast at night. the wi-fi is not realible. the design for the bunk beds is strange, not really easy to climb to the upper bed. the cubicle shower room in female bathroom at first floor area is so uncomfortable, with no place to put your towel /clothes / toiletries. i found one hook, but its to high to reach. the 3 toilets with poor condition : the door is very close with the seating toilet, 1 door is hard to open, and 1 with no lock !
The environment is a bit dull and quite. Located opposite highway. Tips: Don't book for the top level room as it is near to skylight. It often very hot during day time
Aircondition takes too long to cool. Comfort rooms were terrible. No garbage can per room.
The place has a nice look and feel to it. Though it was really good for the price although note that the WC stalls are opaque glass(!), not suitable for people with privacy issues.
Interesting design. Looks like it could have been a converted firehouse--you'll understand once inside. Rooms are small but chilled.
